Spring Break Meeting - Contractors Head to Beach

The TxFSCA’s sun loving members and their families headed for Port Royal Ocean Resort & Conference Center on June 7th for the 21st annual “Spring Break Meeting” on the beaches on South Texas.  This weekend is a favorite event for TxFSCA members as it is family oriented.  On Friday, June 8th a General Meeting was held at 2 PM followed by a fellowship hour sponsored by our traditional host, ACT Pipe & Supply, LTD.  In the evening ninety-seven people gathered for a poolside Luau that included good food and an opportunity to visit and enjoy the outdoors.  The rest of the weekend was relaxing and having fun with family and friends.  Thanks to our long time Spring Break planner, Mike PeCoy with Automatic Fire Protection.  We are already thinking of next summer on the beach.

AFSA - NFSA

In 1999 TxFSCA Members voted to become a State Affiliate of the American Fire Sprinkler Association.  This affiliation has provided our current endeavors with additional funding and educational resources to pursue new projects to benefit our members, our industry and our communities.  The AFSA affiliation and our ongoing relationship with the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) open many opportunities for our membership to learn and grow..
